Look, I know this was supposed to be a Ninja Sex Party shrine. And it still is. But Leigh Daniel Sexbang Avidan has been on my list of Men™ since like 2015. Plus my dad is also named Brian? Nevertheless, NSP has been one of my favorite bands for years.

Here's vague proof that I met them in 2016!!!! That's my hair on the right! I was not allowed behind the table for my photo op unfortunately. But, they were very sweet in my short amount of time with them.

Who is Ninja Sex Party?

Ninja Sex Party is a comedy rock band consisting of singer Dan Avidan (AKA Danny Sexbang) and theoretical physicist/musician/ninja Brian Wecht (AKA Ninja Brian) formed in 2009. The band's music takes inspiration from 70s and 80s rock and power ballads and fantastical comedy. Besides their original comedy albums, they have also released albums covering music from the 70s and 80s, beginning with their first cover, The Last Unicorn.

Along with Ninja Sex Party, Dan and Brian are two-thirds of Starbomb with Arin Hanson (AKA Egoraptor), a video-game themed comedy band. They also work alongside band TWRP, touring live and collaborating on songs. Outside of NSP, Dan has released acoustic cover albums with The Super Guitar Bros as well as sang in bands The Northern Hues, Skyhill, and Shadow Academy. Brian has released music for his children's band Go Banana Go and a jazz album under the name Trey Magnifique.
